Brian leads PTC’s Creo and desktop engineering calculations business as Division Vice Present and General Manager. Under his leadership, this 30-year business continues to enjoy above-market growth rates and a reputation for the highest levels of innovation in support of customer needs. Brian is the primary spokesperson for the Creo business, supporting PTC’s global marketing, sales, and media relations teams. Brian was previously Senior Vice President, CAD segment. In this position, he led the Creo business to above-market growth rates in a mature market. Earlier, as VP of Creo Product Management, he oversaw PTC’s efforts to understand broad customer requirements for Creo, developed short- and long-range product release plans, and communicated those plans across PTC’s R&D organization. Brian joined PTC in 2009 as a member of the Pro/ENGINEER® product management team. After two years, he assumed full product management responsibility. Prior to joining PTC, Brian worked for more than 15 years in electro-mechanical product development in a variety of discrete manufacturing industries. He holds six product design patents, many of which are on products sold today. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
